Larry Nelson was born and bred in Moncton. Upon graduating high school he took a job at Lounsbury, and he has continued with the company for 45 years. Since taking the helm as President and CEO in 1994, Larry has grown and diversified the company, leading it successfully through some challenging times. The Lounsbury Group now comprises 17 companies, employing 400 New Brunswicker. A member of the Order of Canada, Larry is dedicated to the community, chairing and volunteering on a wide variety of boards.
Larry Nelson est né et a grandi à Moncton. Après avoir reçu son diplôme d’études secondaires, il entre à l’entreprise Lounsbury et il y travaille toujours 45 ans plus tard. Depuis qu’il a accédé au poste de président et chef de la direction en 1994, Larry a fait croître et diversifier l’entreprise, gérant la société avec succès dans des moments difficiles. Le Groupe Lounsbury comprend maintenant 17 entreprises et emploie 400 Néo-Brunswickois. Membre de l’Ordre du Canada, Larry se dévoue à sa communauté, servant comme président et bénévole auprès de nombreux conseils d’administration.
