At 14, Robert Zildjian joined his father’s business, Zildjian Cymballs - continuing a family dynasty that can be traced back to 1623 .In 1981, after losing a legal dispute with his brother Armand over ownership of Zildjian Cymballs, Robert Zildjian formed Sabian in Meductic, NB.  He has gone on to market his innovative products around the world.  Orchestras and headline acts alike make SABIAN their choice of cymbal.
