Richard Currie, a Saint John native, worked at Atlantic Sugar Refineries before graduation from Harvard Business School. He went to work for Loblaw Companies Ltd. in 1972 - where he eventually held the position of President for 25 years. From June 1996 until May 2002, he was also President of George Weston Limited. In the Spring of 2003, he was inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
